  • Composite Digital Terrain Model of Granada. Submerged littoral and shallow water areas. From coastline to -183 m. ECOCARTOGRAFIAS. MAPAMA, Dirección General de Sostenibilidad de la Costa y del Mar. Ministerio para la Transición Ecológica. Spain - España. Records of the tracks and other particularities of the oceanographic cruises were probably traceable at the moment of compiling the cartographic project. However, for the final product the only document available for the particularities of the oceanic cruises is the "project report" (a paper document of MAPAMA). There are no digital documents currently available for the intermediate products.

  • Pentadal time-series of the area in the North Atlantic (IHO, 1953) where ice occurred. On a 1 degree grid find all cells that experienced ice in at least 1 month of each 5 year period between 1915 and 2014, and then calculate the total area that these cells covered.

  • The principal component (PC)-based indices of the North Atlantic Oscillation (NAO) are the time series of the leading Empirical Orthogonal Function (EOF) of SLP anomalies over the Atlantic sector, 20°-80°N, 90°W-40°E. These indices are used to measure the NAO throughout the year, tracking the seasonal movements of the Icelandic low and Azores high. These movements are illustrated in the Figures on this page. Positive values of the NAO index are typically associated with stronger-than-average westerlies over the middle latitudes, more intense weather systems over the North Atlantic and wetter/milder weather over western Europe.

  • DTM of the Maltese seafloor resulting from the merge of 3 MBES-derived DTMs (cruises MEDCOR, DECORS and MAPSCAPE) and a bathymetric LiDAR-derived DTM (ERDF20112). Horizontal resolution of 2 m. It comprises the seabed offshore N Gozo, E Maltese Islands and NW Malta. The DTM refers to the following CDIs: 145_CNR-ISMAR-125, MAPSCAPE2012, 145_CNR-ISMAR-126, ERDF_LIDAR_2012

  • Multibeam bathymetry in Tangafjørður, Faroe Islands.

  • The DTM is produced with Kongsberg multibeam echosounder survey, acquired in 2015 by Marine Research Ltd. The resolution is 1/256 arc-minutes (~7.2m). It is located in Costinesti, Romania, on the coastal region of the Black Sea. Depths are referenced to the Mean Sea Level and the coordinates are expressed into the WGS84 reference frame.

  • The DTM is produced with Kongsberg multibeam echosounder survey, acquired in 2015 by Marine Research Ltd. The resolution is 1/256 arc-minutes (~7.2m). It is located north of Mangalia Port, Romania, on the coastal region of the Black Sea. Depths are referenced to the Mean Sea Level and the coordinates are expressed into the WGS84 reference frame.
