'''This product has been archived''' For operational and online products, please visit https://marine.copernicus.eu '''Short description:''' This product consists of vertical profiles of the concentration of nitrates, phosphates and silicates, computed for each Argo float equipped with an oxygen sensor. The method called CANYON (Carbonate system and Nutrients concentration from hYdrological properties and Oxygen using a Neural-network) is based on a neural-network trained using high quality nutrient data collected over the last 30 years (GLODAPv2 data base, https://www.glodap.info/). The method is applied to each Argo float equipped with an oxygen sensor using as input the properties measured by the float (pressure, temperature, salinity, oxygen), and its date and position. '''Short description:''' This product consists of 3D fields of Particulate Organic Carbon (POC), Particulate Backscattering coefficient (bbp) and Chlorophyll-a concentration (Chla) at depth. The reprocessed product is provided at 0.25°x0.25° horizontal resolution, over 36 levels from the surface to 1000 m depth. A neural network method estimates both the vertical distribution of Chla concentration and of particulate backscattering coefficient (bbp), a bio-optical proxy for POC, from merged surface ocean color satellite measurements with hydrological properties and additional relevant drivers.
